While the Mall of America has all of your favorite clothing stores and shops you would normally see at a mall it also has a lot more. Amusement Park

In the center of the multi level rectangular mall is a huge indoor amusement park with rides for all age children and adults. There are roller coasters, a merry go round, mini rides and fun thrill rides that are sure to keep you entertained for hours.

Aquarium

Underneath a large section of the mall is an amazing aquarium where you can experience sharks up close and personal. There are also many small tanks with unique saltwater and freshwater creatures. The tide pools are great too because you can touch several sea creatures. The final stretch is an awesome tunnel through the large tanks where you see sharks and fish swimming all around you.

Whether you are looking for fast food or fine dining there are plenty of restaurants at the Mall of America. There is also your typical mall food court only monster size due to the fact that it has almost every mall food place you can imagine. Save your appetite for the visit as you are sure to see plenty of appetizing dishes.

The Mall of America is full of great designer shops that you wouldn’t normally see in a mall. Stores that most towns never get are abundant so you can pretty much find anything you are looking for. Whether you are shopping for babies, kids or adults there is something for everyone in the family.

To keep up with the pace and make it though the whole mall, make sure you stop at one of the many coffee shops. They offer delicious blended drinks, specialty coffees, fruit drinks and lots more. You can pretty much find any main stream Midwest and national coffee house in the mall so there is something for every coffee lover.

Sweet Shops

A special occasion when you visit a mall like Mall of America is to visit one of the sweet shops. There are some that specialize in chocolates, chocolate covered fruits or nuts and a variety of cool candies. Let it be known that there is no shortage of sweets in the mall so you are sure to find anything you are craving.

As a fun place to visit whenever you are in Minneapolis make sure you visit the Mall of America. Even if you are stuck in the airport for a long layover you can take public transportation or a cab to the mall. It is also a great way to spend a rainy or hot day to get out of the elements.
